So long a wait
So much has happened, as always it seems, between updates here. In brief, we have actually been somewhat active in terms of meeting new people, going to social events, and even personal development. We are currently in California, back in the bay area near the end of what has been nearly a month-long stay. To try to say more right now would be too difficult with so many thoughts in our mind spiraling around.
We will try to update this more often in the coming months. We want to keep this both up to date on current events and to also talk about some of the changes that have taken place with us over the past several months. We look forward to writing regularly once again and hope to have the time for it very soon. We are still almost constantly tired, and many of our other physical issues still hinder us, but we have been trying to do what we can.
Sometimes all that we can do is try, hoping to succeed even when we know we might not. We continue to try, and when we are able, we continue living the moments of true life that we find. We may not be truly living our own life yet, but we have not lost our overwhelming need to do so as soon as we can make it happen.

Interesting developments
When our already old and decrepit laptop recently started shorting out and not charging, essentially rendering it dead, one of our friends was wonderful and decided we needed a laptop. Our new Dell Vostro 1320 arrived on Tuesday, and is more than we could have ever hoped for. We shall see how well it holds up, but for now it is working wonderfully. Hopefully Dell’s business line of systems ends up being better than what we have seen of their regular consumer line over the years. Ubuntu 9.04 installed with only a few minor issues, but those were quickly fixed. If OS X ever supports the hardware we may even try that someday as well.
The weekend of the fourth of July we went to southern Utah, both to get away from Salt Lake City and to see friends and loved ones. Someone who might be our boyfriend lives in the area, and someone who we very much love happened to be visiting along with some friends. Some people would say that we can’t be taken anywhere. It has even been joked that we cannot go on vacation without falling for someone. While not exactly true, we do seem to be very susceptible to recognizing wonderful people for who they are and wanting to be close to them.
